What you will learn: Learn by doing, experimenting and creating! As part of the KEN team, you will discover non-formal education in action, develop digital and communication skills, and gain confidence in working with young people. You will receive mentoring and support while living an intercultural experience, exploring local communities, teamwork and sustainable ways of living. What you will do: You will design and facilitate engaging non-formal education activities for young people, focusing on digital skills, sustainability, inclusion and personal growth. Expect interactive workshops, creative events, school activities, teamwork challenges and community actions in Brașov and nearby areas. You will also create social media content, share project stories and help inspire other young people through your ideas and energy.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will live in a shared apartment in Brașov together with the other volunteers, fully equipped with a kitchen and two bathrooms, a comfortable space to feel at home and enjoy community living. You will receive a monthly allowance of 270 EUR covering food and pocket money. The nearest airports are Bucharest and Brașov. Once your travel plans are confirmed, we will support you in choosing the easiest way to reach Brașov. We encourage green travel whenever possible, and we will gladly help you find environmentally friendly transport options.

Participant profile

We are looking for motivated young people ready to travel soon to Brașov and discover its beautiful nature and vibrant community life. You are open to meeting new people, making friends and actively engaging in local communities. You are willing to use your talents and energy to support educational and social activities and create a positive impact. You are eager to learn new skills, gain experience in non-formal education and work in an international team. You have at least a beginner level of English, are between 18 and 30 years old, and currently reside in an EU country. No previous experience is required, as motivation, openness and willingness to learn are what matter most.
