Description
As the number of tourists in Podgorica continues to grow each year, so does the importance of preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Old Town. Through cultural interpretation, storytelling, and creative engagement, the project aims to help tourists and locals alike connect with the soul of Stara Varoš — not just as a location, but as a living memory of Podgorica's past. Volunteers will organize volunteer tourist walks twice a week, each lasting approximately one hour. These tours will offer tourists engaging insights into the history, culture, and hidden stories of the area. In addition, the volunteers will prepare (design and implement) a promotional campaign for the activities they organize and the cultural value of the Old Town. They will also have the opportunity to connect with volunteers from other cities with similar initiatives. !!
