The power of together

Fajny ART Camp

STOWARZYSZENIE JEDEN SWIAT

POZNAN, Poland

Description

Join the Fajny ART Camp in Poznań and become a part of a creative summer experience with children and teenagers! The project takes place over two weeks, each dedicated to a different age group (10–12 and 13–15). Volunteers will support and co-create artistic activities, with a special focus on theatre during one of the weeks. Together with professionals, you will take part in the process of creating a performance. Throughout the camp, you are encouraged to share your own ideas and lead creative workshops based on your interests — from art and music to games and intercultural activities. The camp will also include a community picnic, where volunteers can organise activities for children and their families. This is a great opportunity to develop creativity, teamwork, and experience in non-formal education.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodated in a dormitory in Poznań, in shared rooms (2 people per room). Basic facilities, including bathrooms and kitchen access, will be available. Lunch will be provided during the camp. Breakfasts and dinners will be prepared by volunteers themselves, offering a great opportunity to share cultural traditions and cook together. Volunteers are encouraged to bring recipes from their home countries.

Training during the activity

Volunteers will receive on-site support and guidance from the coordinating team throughout the project. At the beginning of the camp, an introduction will be provided, including information about the schedule and working with children. Volunteers will also collaborate with professionals during the theatre week and gain practical experience in creative and non-formal education. Daily reflection meetings will support teamwork, learning, and sharing experiences.

Participant profile

We’re looking for a motivated and creative young individual interested in working with children and teenagers. You don’t need prior experience in leading workshops or facilitation — what matters most is your positive attitude, openness to learning, and enthusiasm for making a difference. If you enjoy sharing ideas, working in a team, and creating a supportive and fun environment, this project might be for you.
