STEP INTO THE MAGIC OF VOLUNTEERING! Our volunteers become true language wizards, engaging with our charming 3-7-year-old kiddos in a mix of languages. It's not just conversation! It's a whirlwind of vocabulary growth and a deep dive into understanding one another’s uniqueness. Teaming up with kindergarten teachers, these volunteers add their special touch, helping nurture young minds with their expertise. But that’s just the beginning. They dive into the fun, joining in playtime and even pitching in with the everyday routine. Oh, and did we mention they get to showcase their own cultural traditions? Imagine sharing customs, folklore, and whipping up dishes that bring the celebrations to life! And the excitement doesn’t end with the daily activities! Get ready for a thrilling mix of special events, including Seasonal Playhouses, Field Trips, Christmas parties, a fabulous Parents-Carers Ball, Carnival fun, and more! Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The two volunteers of Little Roots will share a comfortable and well-equipped house in VESZPRÉM. Each volunteer will have their own separate room to ensure privacy and personal space. The house includes all necessary amenities such as heating, hot water, Wi-Fi, gas, and more, providing a convenient and cozy living environment. Volunteers will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their living space. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, allowing volunteers to prepare their own meals. This setup aims to create a harmonious and self-sufficient living arrangement.
Training during the activity
The Hungarian National Agency is hosting two dynamic one-week meetings for international volunteers in the vibrant cities of Visegrád and/or Budapest. Meanwhile, the Európa Ifjúsága Egyesület - Youth of Europe Association is organizing two engaging, multi-day "internal" training sessions where mentors and fellow volunteers (11 young people) come together to enjoy meaningful moments, strengthen bonds, and boost their skills in an exciting and supportive atmosphere.

We are searching for an active and motivated person with the following qualities: ADAPTABILITY, GOOD COMMUNICATION AND PRESENTATION SKILLS, FLEXIBILITY, ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH DIFFERENT AUDIENCES, INTEREST TO WORK WITH CHILDREN AND PARENTS, INTEREST TO DEVELOP PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITIES.
