DIVE INTO THE WORLD OF VOLUNTEERING MAGIC! Our volunteers become language maestros, chatting away in various tongues with our adorable 3-7-year-old kiddos. It's not just talk! It's a vocabulary explosion, and a journey into understanding each other's uniqueness. These heroes team up with the kinderten teachers, sprinkling a dash of expertise to nurture little minds. But that's not all! They're diving into the fun, joining playtime, and even pitching in with the daily drill (think dressing up and chowing down). Oh, did we mention they get to showcase their cultural flair? Picture this: sharing traditions, folk customs, and serving up dishes that scream celebration! And hey, the excitement doesn't stop with daily routines. Brace yourselves for a whirlwind of special events from Seasonal Playhouses to Field Trips, Christmas shindigs, a dazzling Parents-Carers Ball, Carnival extravaganzas, and more! Are you ready to be part of the volunteer dream team? :)
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The three volunteers of PlayGrow will share a comfortable and well-equipped house in VESZPRÉM. Each volunteer will have their own separate room to ensure privacy and personal space. The house includes all necessary amenities such as heating, hot water, Wi-Fi, gas, and more, providing a convenient and cozy living environment. Volunteers will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their living space. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, allowing volunteers to prepare their own meals. This setup aims to create a harmonious and self-sufficient living arrangement.
Training during the activity
The Hungarian National Agency is hosting two dynamic one-week meetings for international volunteers in the vibrant cities of Visegrád and/or Budapest. Meanwhile, the Európa Ifjúsága Egyesület - Youth of Europe Association is organizing two engaging, multi-day "internal" training sessions where mentors and fellow volunteers (11 young people) come together to enjoy meaningful moments, strengthen bonds, and boost their skills in an exciting and supportive atmosphere.
Participant profile
We are searching for an active motivated person with the following qualities: adaptability, good communication and presentation skills, flexibility, ability to communicate with different audiences, interest in working with children and parents, and interest in developing pedagogical activities.
