Description

Join an international team of 15 volunteers and support the Being SEA-EU Conference while promoting diversity, inclusion and intercultural dialogue. Main activities: • Supporting the organisation of the Being SEA-EU Conference; • Welcoming participants and assisting with registration and logistics; • Supporting workshops, networking events and international guests; • Creating photos, videos and social media content; • Participating in workshops and intercultural activities; • Engaging students and local communities through solidarity initiatives; • Exploring the University of Gdańsk campuses and the Tricity area; • Co-creating projects promoting diversity, inclusion, and European values.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation in a University of Gdańsk student residence; Pocket money and food allowance; Insurance coverage; Local transportation costs covered; Reimbursement of travel costs according to ESC rules; An opportunity to work in an international environment and become part of the SEA-EU community.

Training during the activity

Training and support will include an onboarding programme, orientation sessions and team-building activities aimed at helping volunteers integrate into the international group and become familiar with the University of Gdańsk and the project objectives. Throughout the activity, volunteers will participate in regular meetings and reflection sessions with the coordinating team to discuss upcoming events, their roles and responsibilities, and to ensure continuous learning, cooperation and personal development.

Participant profile

We are looking for enthusiastic, open-minded, proactive and motivated young people (18–30) with a communicative level of English who would like to contribute to a more inclusive and diverse Europe through solidarity and international cooperation. Priority will be given to young people connected with the SEA-EU Alliance, but applications from all motivated candidates are welcome. Participants should be willing to work in an international team, take initiative, engage in intercultural activities and community-building initiatives, and actively contribute to the project. As communication and dissemination are an important part of the experience, participants should also be comfortable being photographed and filmed, as photos and videos documenting the project will be shared on the social media channels and websites of the University of Gdańsk and the Cooperation and International Relations Office.
