🧑‍🏫3-month International Volunteering Opportunity in Rzeszów at CoLibre Democratic School | EUROPEAN UNION ONLY

STOWARZYSZENIE PROJEKTOW MIEDZYNARODOWYCH INPRO

Fundacja CoLibre

Łukawiec, Poland

Description

Join us at CoLibre Democratic School in Rzeszów, the largest city in southeastern Poland, for an international volunteering project bringing together 2 people from different countries. Together, we will work on educational, creative, intercultural and organisational tasks within a small, family-like school community. The project is a chance to gain hands-on experience in working with children, communication and intercultural cooperation. The activity dates are fixed: 07.09.2026–22.12.2026. These dates are not negotiable. Staying in Poland a few days before and/or after the project may be possible only at the participant's own cost. Apply as soon as possible. Recruitment is ongoing and places may be filled before the official deadline. You can find all the necessary information in the infopack -> INFOPACK

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

This project is a partnership between INPRO (Coordinating Organisation – accommodation, selection & administration) and CoLibre Foundation (Hosting Organisation – activities). Volunteers will stay in a shared flat accommodating 6 people, with the remaining rooms occupied by other volunteers; rooms are shared by same-gender volunteers, with a shared kitchen and bathroom. Each volunteer receives 12 EUR/day for food and pocket money. Travel costs are reimbursed up to applicable limits based on distance and transport.

Training during the activity

At the beginning of the project, volunteers will take part in an introduction to CoLibre, the city of Rzeszów, the aims of the project and the European Solidarity Corps. They will receive practical preparation related to working with children, communication, workshop facilitation and activities with the local community. Throughout the project, volunteers will be supported by a mentor and the team. The project will also include space for intercultural learning, reflection and evaluation. You can read more about CoLibre and the planned activities in the infopack.

Participant profile

This project is open to young people who are motivated to take part in an international volunteering experience, including those with fewer opportunities and little or no previous experience in international projects. Previous experience in volunteering, youth work or working with children is not required, although it is welcome. What matters most is your motivation, responsibility, openness to learning, and a positive attitude towards working with people. Since the project will involve activities with children and young people, it is important that you feel comfortable with this type of work and are genuinely open to engaging with them. If you feel motivated but you are not sure whether you have enough experience, we still encourage you to apply. We are looking for people who are willing to learn, support others, and become actively involved in the project. Applications are accepted only via the European Youth Portal. Please apply with your CV and a motivation statement. ❗Email applications will not be considered❗
