Description

At WSG Univeristy in Bydgoszcz volunteers have the opportunity to develop their skills and gain new experiences among people of different age ranges: in the Nursery, Day Care Center for the elderly, International Relations Office, Europe Direct, Library and Design Studio/Marketing Department.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The flat rented in the city center is shared with other volunteers. It provides standard and essential household equipment. Volunteers are receiving 180 EUR for food - according to the rules of the European Solidarity Corps. All the expenses of local transport (tram, bus) are covered by the project.

Training during the activity

Volunteers participate in On-Arrival and Mid-Term training organized by the Polish National Agency.

Participant profile

The host organization is looking for young people who are: - ready to teach and take care children in nurserie, pre-schools and day-care centres, and who wish to gain experience working with students at WSG University; - open to learning about the cultural heritage of Poland and the culture of the other participants; - ready to implement their own ideas that will meet the needs of the local and academic community; - speak English at a level of min. B1
