ESK Freiwilligendienst im Kindergarten

Jugendbildungsstätte Unterfranken

Würzburg, Germany

Description

The daycare center Menschenskinder is a Protestant institution. It includes one nursery group with 12 places and two kindergarten groups with 50 places. Additionally, the facility offers two emergency places in the nursery and six emergency places in the kindergarten. We accept children from the age of one until they start school. Since 2012, our daycare has participated in various language development programs. With earmarked funds, we finance a qualified specialist working 20 hours per week, who is specifically employed for language development and support. Our educational work is strongly influenced by the principles of Montessori pedagogy: "Help me to do it myself!" – M. Montessori Our general guiding principle, which we follow in our institution, is: "I – YOU – WE – EVERYONE IS IMPORTANT!" Our goals and main activities are comprehensively outlined in our educational concept.
