Transform & Inspire: Volunteering for a Digital and Sustainable Future

SAN JUAN BOSCO

Morón de la Frontera, Spain

Description

Transform & Inspire is a project that combines education, digital innovation, and sustainability. Volunteers will support English teachers by leading conversation activities, language games, and small-group work to improve students' speaking confidence and communication skills. They will also design and deliver two interactive workshops: one on Artificial Intelligence, helping students explore AI tools, digital skills, creativity, and their responsible use in future careers; and another on Sustainability and the Circular Economy, raising awareness of climate change through practical activities, recycling challenges, and eco-friendly workshops, including making soap from used cooking oil. Volunteers will actively participate in school life, promote intercultural learning, and contribute to an inclusive, innovative, and environmentally responsible educational community.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will share a fully furnished apartment with other ESC volunteers or a homestay with a local family. Accommodation, local transport and travel costs will be covered according to the European Solidarity Corps rules. Each volunteer will also receive: Monthly food allowance. Monthly pocket money. Support throughout the whole volunteering period from both a mentor and the hosting organisation.

Throughout the project, volunteers will benefit from: Spanish language support. Continuous mentoring and personalised guidance. Participation in the European Solidarity Corps training cycle (On-arrival and Mid-term Training). Practical experience in education, youth work and non-formal learning.
