Description
SE Ikorta Enamel Jewelry Studio is a social enterprise within MMRH that empowers internally displaced women through traditional Georgian cloisonné enamel jewelry craftsmanship. By combining cultural heritage with social impact, Ikorta creates sustainable employment opportunities while preserving centuries-old artistic traditions. We are looking for a passionate Digital Marketing participant to volunteer with our team. The volunteer will support our staff by delivering practical training in digital marketing, helping us strengthen our online presence and expand our international reach. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging digital marketing training sessions, support with social media marketing strategies (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.), Introduce content creation and storytelling techniques, Provide guidance on email marketing and customer engagement, Support with website promotion, Support online sales strategies, including Etsy and e-commerce marketing.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
MMRH is located at Tserovani IDP Settlement, is a special village built for Georgian IDPs.
Basic services are accessible easily (water, electricity, gas is centralised). The speed of internet and connection is stable. The volunteer will regularly receive information, guidance, support, and wherever appropriate, means necessary for performing the functions assigned to them.
The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance of 550 € to cover their food and other expenses. Accommodation, return flights, visa and vaccination costs, basic equipment (laptop and mobile phone) will be provided.
Training during the activity
The volunteer will receive a Security training prior to deployment and will have access to online training materials on various training platforms, as well as will receive a comprehensive briefing before deployment.
The volunteer will gain the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful social enterprise, Experience working with talented artisans preserving Georgian cultural heritage, s/he will have the chance to create lasting social impact by strengthening the digital skills of women entrepreneurs.
Participant profile
Interest in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
Practical knowledge of social media management and online advertising.
Interest in e-commerce marketing, particularly Etsy, is an advantage.
Good presentation and training skills.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Passion for social entrepreneurship, women's empowerment, and community development.
Eligibility : Candidates must be 18 to 35 years old, reside in one of the eligible countries (EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Turkey), have completed the compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training and not have participated before in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months.
