Youth in Action VI - Support Project Management and Graphic Design in an NGO in Portugal

Description
The project will allow 2 volunteers for a period of 12 months. They will support our Image & Communication officer and Project Management Department at DYPALL Network in key areas of our work. We are a European network of civil society organisations, municipalities and research institutions dedicated to improving democracy through youth participation. We work with EU-funded projects related to youth participation, youth work and youth mobility. The selected volunteer for: Support Image & Communication will be involved in non-formal educational activities, support in managing social media and content creation, graphic design, photography, and video editing. Support Project Management will be involved in non-formal educational activities, support in writing projects and reports, managing events and all related logistics.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
DYPALL Network will provide volunteers with safe, fully equipped accommodation that meets all health and safety standards and includes internet access. The accommodation will be located within the city centre, a short distance from the DYPALL Network's office. Volunteers will receive a monthly food allowance of €150 and pocket money of €180, transferred directly to their bank accounts. Travel to and from the hosting location will be organized and reimbursed in accordance with the rules of the European Solidarity Corps programme.
Training during the activity
Together with our partner sending organisation, we have agreed that all selected volunteers will receive pre-departure training. Before the arrival, we will also organise an online meeting with each volunteer to discuss practical arrangements, project expectations, and answer any questions they may have. In addition to this preparation process, we will organise at least two internal mid-term training sessions related to the volunteer project, several monitoring and evaluation meetings throughout the activity, and a final evaluation at the end of the project. Participant profile
Priority will be given to young people with fewer opportunities, including those experiencing long-term unemployment. Volunteers will be selected from the pool of candidates registered in the European Solidarity Corps Portal. We are looking for motivated, proactive, and responsible volunteers who enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment. The selection process will be based on equal opportunities and non-discrimination, promoting gender equality and inclusion throughout the project. The project also aims to empower volunteers to become active citizens and encourage them to continue participating in volunteering and community initiatives in their local communities after the project ends.
