Description
We are bringing together artists, creative professionals, cultural organisations and audiences under one roof. Located in a former tram depot, our venue has developed into a dynamic centre for contemporary arts, creativity and community engagement. The Depot offers a diverse programme of exhibitions, markets, festivals, open studio events, educational programmes and artist talks. Community events strengthen the Depot as an open meeting place for the local community and visitors alike. Our creative workshops invite people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with artistic processes and develop their own creative skills. You will work closely with our team and will be mainly involved in the event and community management. You are also very welcome to bring in your own project ideas. You will have the chance to develop new skills in organization, administration, communication, technology for the events, marketing, and contribute your time in an inspiring and diverse environment.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will stay in a fully equipped facility in Dortmund, having your own room in a shared flat. and you have to take part of the cleaning of the flat. You will receive monthly pocket money for food and living expenses. Travel costs are reimbursed per ESC guidelines. You also receive a ticket for public transportation if needed. Insurance is provided through the ESC program.
Participant profile
Applicant should be 18-30 years old, open-minded, curious, with an interest in culture and arts, a team player, with a good sense of humor and willing to try new things. You should enjoy communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds. Experience in organizing cultural events would be great but isn’t essential.
