Its work focuses on strategic litigation and strengthening organisations of women, LGBTIQ+ people, Andean producers and victims of violence. Based in Lima, the volunteer will work with their mentor, the Legal Team and regional offices to: * Support commemorative events in Lima. * Expand the Memory Map with information on the victims remembered at each site. * Create a virtual portfolio of human rights cases to support access and dissemination. * Help regional offices raise awareness of victims of past and present violations. * Contribute to APRODEH’s strategy on historical memory as a tool for defending human rights. * Promote exchanges on the role of memory in building a democratic society.

APRODEH will arrange suitable accommodation with a private lockable bedroom, access to a bathroom, living and dining areas, kitchen, laundry facilities, reliable internet, kitchenware and a refrigerator. It will be located in a safe area near the office, within walking distance or a short bus ride, and close to essential services. APRODEH will co-sign the rental agreement as guarantor and ensure that the rent is paid monthly.
