Description
Working closely with the Head of Youth Outreach, who is their line manager, they will be involved in various tasks relating to the implementation of arts and cultural education projects, cultural initiatives and outreach activities aimed at children and young people. More broadly, they will contribute to the organisation’s day-to-day running and the various aspects of its activities. For certain cross-functional tasks involving communications and ticketing, they may liaise with the staff responsible for these departments. - Overseeing arts and cultural education projects, cultural outreach projects and engagement activities for a wide range of audiences: children, teenagers, families and adults. - Promoting the theatre’s performances, artists and projects; - Developing engagement tools tailored to different audiences; - Leading various outreach sessions (theatre tours, meetings, open rehearsals, etc.);
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Living conditions: Accommodation will be provided. The accommodation of the volunteer will be in a flat composed of 7 rooms, a kitchen/living room, a bathroom and a courtyard. He/she will be able to do his/her own meals in the common kitchen. Wi-Fi access will be available. Budget: Concordia will provide every month to the volunteer food money (9,00€ per day). In addition, the volunteer will get pocket money from Concordia (8,00€ per day). Local transports are funded by the host organisation and international transports are funded by european funds. Only green travel.
Training during the activity
- 2 seminars with the nationla agency for ESC volunteers (on arrival + mid term) - an integration week in Lyon with other french and european volunteers - active participation in the project "WELL" about mental health and empowerment and monthly meetings with volunteers in Concordia - individual tutorate with a tutor in Concordia once a month minimum - appropriate training about the mission's tasks provided by the host organisation Preselected candidates contacted until the 20/07. Interviews on the 22nd afternoon.

- An interest in and appreciation of the performing arts - Knowledge of French (spoken and written) to feel at ease in a French-speaking environment - Familiarity with IT tools, - Good interpersonal skills (as the role involves welcoming members of the public), - A passion for teamwork and cooperation, - Organisational skills, - Proactive approach, - Enthusiasm, curiosity and kindness
