The power of together

Support us in protecting the Alps!

Verein CIPRA International

Schaan, Liechtenstein

Description

Are you between 18 and 30 years old and come from an Alpine country? Are you interested in learning how an international environmental NGO works? CIPRA is a non-profit umbrella organisation with offices in seven Alpine countries and a member network of over 100 associations. It is committed to the protection and the sustainable development in the Alps. As a volunteer at CIPRA International in Liechtenstein you will work in the field of sustainable development in an international setting. You will support our communication work (Social Media, website, newsletter etc.) and our project managers in alpine wide projects.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will live in Liechtenstein and receive free accommodation, insurance, pocket money for food and other expenses, bus ticket in Liechtenstein and support for the travel costs to and from Liechtenstein.

Training during the activity

From the ESC Programme: On Arrival Training and Mid-Term Training in Austria.
Additional options depending on availability: German language course, team trainings for the CIPRA staff.

Participant profile

Since you will work in the field of sustainable development in the Alps, you should first and foremost be interested in this topic. We prefer if you already have some experiences in project work, such as volunteering for a local association. You are fluent in English and you speak at least one of the main Alpine languages (Italian, German, French or Slovenian). Knowledge of German is an advantage, living in Liechtenstein. To support you, we offer German language courses. Please send your CV and a motivation letter to anna.mehrmann@cipra.org.
