Description

The Project Development and Implementation Unit, established under the Küçükçekmece District Governorate, develops and implements projects funded by various national and international programmes, including Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). Thanks to our strong institutional capacity, wide local partnerships and experienced team, we aim to offer volunteers an enriching, wel-organized and memorable experience that combines learning, cultural exchange and meaningful community engagement. What if your volunteering experience was more than just helping others? Imagine spending two months discovering one of the world's most fascinating cities while creating something that wil benefit thousands of young people in the future. Instead of sitting in an office every day, you wil visit youth centers, libraries, cultural venues, sports facilities, museums, art workshops, music schools, language centers and many other places that offer opportunities for young people.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers wil stay in comfortable shared rooms (4 volunteers per room) with:
-Just near the office builing
-Private bathroom and toilet in each room
-Shared fuly equipped kitchen
-Shared laundry facilities
-Wi-Fi connection
-Safe and friendly environmen

All activities can be shaped and updated with the active participation of our volunteers. You are invited to volunteer in a democratic environment where your unique ideas are valued, heard, and put into action!

Participant profile

Have at least intermediate English (B1 level is sufficient).
Are curious and eager to discover new cultures.
Enjoy teamwork.
Are motivated to contribute actively rather than simply participate.
Appreciate art, history and cultural heritage. Like outdoor activities, walking tours and sports.
Are open to learning new digital tools.
*Although not mandatory, preference may be given to volunteers who do not smoke or consume alcohol, as our accommodation and project environment promote a healthy lifestyle.
