ENTE Kindergarden - Volunteering in Poland

Centrum ds.Katastrof i Klesk Zywiolowych TRATWA

Wrocław, Poland

Description

Are you passionate about working with children and want to make a real difference in their everyday lives? Join our long-term European Solidarity Corps project "Ente Kindergarten” and spend 9 unforgettable months supporting early childhood education in one of the most vibrant cities in Poland!

As a volunteer in this project, you will become an important part of a kindergarten team, supporting professional educators in their daily work. Your main tasks will include:

Assisting teachers during educational and creative activities
Helping to organize games, songs, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
Supporting children in their daily routines (such as meals, dressing, hygiene)
Sharing your culture and language through interactive activities
Contributing to a warm, friendly and inclusive environment

You don’t need previous experience—just motivation, openness, and a genuine interest in working with young children.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

After coming to Wrocław, we will provide fully furnished and equipped apartments which have good connections to the workplace. The volunteer should be ready to share the room with another volunteer of the same gender and the living space with other volunteers. To give full independence to the volunteer a card for public transport will be provided at the beginning of the project and every month pocket money and food allowance will be transferred to the volunteer's account.

Training during the activity

At the beginning of the project, volunteers working in the kindergarten will participate in a training on working with children, including child safety, communication, educational methods, and responsible support in daily activities. This will help them feel prepared and confident in their role. As a long-term volunteer, you will also participate in the European Solidarity Corps training cycle, including On-Arrival and Mid-Term Training organized by the National Agency. These activities will help volunteers reflect on their experiences, develop new skills, and better understand ESC values.

Participant profile

We invite motivated, caring, and open-minded volunteers who are interested in working with children and supporting their development through play, creativity, and everyday activities. The project is a great opportunity for people who want to learn more about working with children, gain practical experience, and develop their communication and social skills.

We are looking for participants who are patient, responsible, creative, and willing to engage in an intercultural environment. Volunteers should be open to learning, sharing their culture, and building positive relationships with children and the kindergarten team.

No previous experience is required – motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are the most important qualities.
