Description
Analog Mania is an international festival dedicated to analogic arts, techniques and history. Founded by the artist Emil Kindlein in 2013, it presents historic and classic processes of analogic photography, cinefilm film screenings and analog sound experiences in multiple locations from Timișoara, but mainly the Youth House.
Volunteering activity: Will take part from the 28th of September until the 9th of November 2026 (excluding travel days). It will focus on supporting cultural activities and working with artists and professionals in the field of culture.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Your accomodation will be provided by us, in the Youth House, you will stay in a room that has 2/3 single beds (meaning you will share the room with one or two more people), bathroom and a shared kitchen. The meals will be your responsibility: you will have access to an equiped kitchen to use and you’ll receive weekly allowance 5 EUR – food allowance/day, and of course, you’ll receive pocket money too, 4 EUR/day (this money you will receive in romanian currency in cash or by bank transfer). Travel expenses will also be covered through the project based on the amounts established under the programme.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will take part in team building activities to strengthen cooperation and group cohesion, followed by logistics training on the correct use of equipment. Analog photography workshops will introduce the technical and artistic fundamentals of shooting and developing film, while a dedicated session on how to set up an exhibition will teach volunteers to curate, print, and display photographic work professionally. The program also includes structured evaluation and reflection sessions, allowing volunteers to assess their personal and group learning journey, alongside activities centered on solidarity and culture and arts.

- Speaking English at a conversational level
- Enthusiastic for cultural events and willing to promote them (online/offline)
- Excited to develop new skills in preparing, implementing, and promoting cultural activities
- Having residence in a EU country
- Passionate about analog arts such as photography, film, music, etc.
