Description

Project goals:

  • Promoting social inclusion, diversity, and human rights, and combating all forms of discrimination,
  • Development of digital competences and skills for functioning in the era of digital transformation,
  • Encouraging young people to participate in social and democratic life and shaping civic attitudes,
  • Promoting ecological practices and activities for sustainable development and climate protection.

Volunteers will take part in a variety of initiatives, such as:

  • workshops and events promoting cultural diversity
  • educational projects developing dialogue between citizens and local institutions,
  • activities integrating children, young people, and seniors within the Children’s University and the University of the Third Age,
  • Assistance with office work
  • Promotion of the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ programs

Participant profile

The project is addressed to young people aged 18–30 who are motivated to engage in social and educational activities while gaining valuable experience in an international environment. We are looking for participants who are open-minded, willing to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and eager to develop both personally and professionally. Previous volunteering experience or specific qualifications are not required. The most important qualities are motivation, responsibility, commitment, and a willingness to actively contribute to the local community. Good communication skills, creativity, initiative, and a basic knowledge of English are considered an asset, as they facilitate cooperation within an international team. The project is also open to young people with fewer opportunities. Individual support and reasonable accommodations will be provided to ensure equal access, active participation, and a positive volunteering experience for all participants.
