Join our Wildlife Rescue Team !
Are you passionate about wildlife conservation and do you wnat to make a real difference ? Join the Beauval Nature Wildlife Care Center and help care for injured and orphaned wild animals. We are looking for two volunteers. Your tasks will include feeding animals, cleaning cages and enclosures, preparing food, maintaining care facilities, assisting with the care of young animals, and taking part in the release of rehabilitated animals back into the wild. You will be guided every day by experienced staff (carers and veterinarians), volunteers, gaining hands-on experience in wildlife rehabilitation while developing new skills. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to biodiversity conservation, work as part of a dedicated team, and take part in a meaningful and rewarding mission in the service of nature and European solidarity.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will be housed near Saint-Aignan, France, in accommodation (either standalone or within one of the housing complexes near ZooParc de Beauval, Saint-Aignan), in apartments or houses that we will select. We will pay the rent, with all charges included.
Each accommodation has at least one kitchen with storage and equipment for cooking, one room per volunteer and one bathroom.
You must sign a lease and house rules. A deposit of €400 is required.
You will have some money for food, reimbursement of international travel expenses, local transportation costs are covered.
Training during the activity
Training upon arrival and mid-term seminar are organized by the French national agency. You can have French lessons once a week with a local non-profit organization.
Participant profile
Volunteers will be chosen according to their motivation and energy to participate in our actions.
Volunteers must be interested in animals, nature conservation, and willing to learn. Be careful, volunteers must have good emotional control because unfortunately, many animals do not survive despite care.
A cover letter will be requested; a resume is appreciated. Individual interviews will be held by videoconference so that the person can introduce itself and we can present the Wildlife Care Center and the mission. If the volunteer is more comfortable, the interview can be in English or in French.
