Description

Become part of an inspiring ESC experience in Reșița, Romania, where you can spend 6 to 12 months making a real difference in the local community while growing personally and professionally.

Hosted by Voluntariatul Pentru Toți (VPT), an NGO established in 2012, this project focuses on social inclusion, non-formal education, youth empowerment, and the promotion of European values. Our organization was founded by youth workers, teachers, volunteers, who share the vision of creating equal opportunities for everyone.

As a volunteer, you will support educational and social activities for children in nurseries, kindergartens, and primary schools, while also contributing to activities in high schools and centers for adults with disabilities. Your daily work may include organizing creative workshops, sports and arts activities, cultural exchanges, volunteering campaigns, and supporting local community events. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, connect, and inspire others.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The project provides comprehensive support, including:

· Accommodation in a shared apartment;

· Monthly food allowance (150 €) and pocket money (120 €);

· Travel reimbursement according to ESC distance bands;

· Local transportation pass;

· Personal mentor and continuous support;

· Romanian language course;

· Henner health insurance;

· Youthpass Certificate recognizing your learning outcomes.

Training during the activity

Throughout the project, volunteers will benefit from a comprehensive learning programme, including:

· Pre-arrival support.

· On-arrival training – introduction to the project, the organization, the local community, the ESC programme.

· Health and Safety training.

· Activity-specific training – preparation for educational workshops, non-formal education.

· Romanian language support.

· Mentoring sessions – continuous individual support from an experienced mentor.

· Mid-term evaluation-to assess progress, set new learning goals.

· Final evaluation and Youthpass workshop 

Participant profile

We are looking for motivated young people aged 18–30 who are open-minded, proactive, creative, and interested in education, inclusion, and community work. A minimum A2 level of English is required, together with a positive attitude and willingness to work in an international team.
