European Solidarity Corps

The power of together

Long-term ESC volunteering with social media at Fryshuset Stockholm

Stiftelsen Fryshuset

Stockholm, Sweden

Description

We are looking for two creative volunteers to join Fryshuset's International Department. One volunteer will mainly support the management of our Instagram accounts (@fryshusetyouthmobility and @fryshusetglobal), creating and publishing engaging content about our activities. The other will primarily support the publication of articles and updates on our website and LinkedIn. Both volunteers will contribute to communication campaigns, support outreach activities such as information points and workshops, and work closely with the International Department team. As part of Fryshuset, you will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, develop practical communication skills, and help strengthen the organisation's commitment of making it possible for young people to change the world through their passions.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Participation in the project is fully covered by the European Solidarity Corps programme. Volunteers receive 4500 SEK per month as pocket and food money, as well as an SL public transport travel card. A private room in a shared accommodation is provided for participants coming from outside the city of activity. In case the participant already lives in Stockholm, financial compensation for accommodation is provided instead.

Training during the activity

You will participate in two mandatory trainings organised by the Swedish National Agency: on-arrival and mid-term trainings. Also, there will be an online Swedish course available for the volunteers.

Participant profile

We are looking for volunteers who: • are interested in communication and social media marketing; social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and website management; • want to work both independently and collaboratively in a team; • are proactive, curious, and not afraid to take initiative
