ASOC SOCIO CULTURAL VERDESUR ALCALA
Alcalá la Real, Spain
Description
Join a long-term volunteering in Alcalá la Real, a historic rural town in Andalusia. Volunteers will support the work of VerdeSur Alcalá and its local partners through educational, youth and community activities. Tasks may include assisting with English conversation and classroom activities, helping children with homework and educational games, supporting programmes for older people, and assisting in school and retirement-centre dining rooms. Volunteers will also contribute to youth exchanges, training courses, local workshops and English-speaking clubs at Edificio Joven. They are encouraged to bring their own ideas and develop activities connected to art, languages, volunteering or active citizenship. Spanish classes and daily community life will offer opportunities to improve language and intercultural skills. Volunteers can start as soon as possible from October 2026, and the activity ends in late April 2027.
