Description

The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering programme at Lézards Animés aims to promote active citizenship, youth engagement and international solidarity. It focuses on promoting mobility and intercultural education.

The volunteer will take part in the activities of the Chapidock circus school, including recreational and adapted circus workshops for participants aged from 3 to 100. He/She will also participate in intercultural awareness-raising activities and in promoting international mobility.

The main activities include:

  • Supporting participants with specific needs during circus workshops
  • Taking part in the set-up of the organisation's events
  • Promoting the organisation's activities and international projects
  • Sharing personal experiences and testimonies about international mobility during events





 

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
  • Travel: Public transport (train, bus, etc.)
  • Accommodation: Private room in a shared apartment
  • Food allowance: Allowance provided for food
  • Pocket money: Allowance for personal expenses
  • Health and liability insurance: Insurance coverage provided by HENNER for volunteers
Training during the activity

The volunteer will be able to attend the school's regular circus classes, workshops and training courses free of charge.

The volunteer will also have access to open training sessions, which are dedicated to circus practice, experimentation and exchanges between participants.

Participant profile
  • Social skills: Adaptability and curiosity about working with a diverse range of people, particularly people with disabilities
  • Autonomy and initiative: Qualities that are valued for teamwork and the assigned missions
  • Interest in non-formal education and inclusion
  • Language learning: Motivation to improve French language skills in order to facilitate integration into the project and everyday life in France
  • Previous experience or a strong interest in circus or another artistic practice
