Description
You will support the person in charge of safeguarding in AAH Guatemala, helping coordination between the Office and the Safeguarding and PSEAH Specialist in AAH HQs. You will contribute to the implementation of the organization International Safeguarding Policy, update and implementation of the annual PSEA plan and its monitoring, strengthening the safeguarding structure of focal points and increasing their capacities,. You will also support and conduct training and awareness-raising activities with staff, beneficiaries, partners and service providers, and assist in the identification, adaptation and development of safeguarding material.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We cover your accommodation, travel, visa, medical checkup and vaccinations costs, and you will be provided with monthly pocket money for your free time and personal hygiene. During the deployment you will be provided with a laptop and phone of the organization to ensure the means to carry out the activities. Training during the activity
During the deployment you will have access to the full catalog of training courses offered on ACF Virtual Campus and will have the opportunity to benefit from additional external courses.
Participant profile
You have University studies in gender, social sciences, international cooperation, humanitarian action or related areas, demonstrated interest in safeguarding, protection, gender and human rights; good knowledge of Spanish and communication skills, teamwork and intercultural sensitivity. Previous experience in the NGO sector is an asset. You will join our field teams engaged in humanitarian operations and have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in a well-recognized international organization dedicated to the fight against hunger. You will gain first-hand experience of humanitarian action, life in the field, and high-impact interventions.
