Description

You will assist with the day-to-day management of administrative and operational activities of the office, developing a comprehensive understanding of how the support services of an international humanitarian organization operate, and contributing to improving their operational efficiency. You will manage, file, and archive physical and electronic administrative documents; update databases, tracking tables, and administrative tools; help organize internal meetings, workshops, and events; draft letters, administrative notes, and meeting minutes. You will support the logistic organization of field trips and regional travels, the administrative travel follow-up and contribute to the procurement and maintenance of the office supplies and equipment. You will organize interviews, support new staff onboarding and training, internal communication and staff well-being. You will Support financial documents filing and payments compliance, administrative management & reporting systems.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

We cover your accommodation, travel, visa, medical checkup and vaccinations costs, and you will be provided with monthly pocket money for your free time and personal hygiene. During the deployment you will be provided with a laptop and phone of the organization to ensure the means to carry out the activities. In case of belonging to one of the Fewer Opportunities categories (please, check the details with the organization) additional inclusion measures and benefits will be applied.

Training during the activity

During the deployment you will have access to the full catalog of training courses offered on ACF Virtual Campus and will have the opportunity to benefit from additional external courses. 

Participant profile

You are a motivated person who wants to gain experience in an international humanitarian organization, possibly with a background in administration, management, human resources, finance, accounting, logistics or similar fields. You have good organisational skills, mastery of common office tools and enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment. Rigour, discretion, interpersonal skills, initiative and willingness to learn are essential. You will join our field teams engaged in humanitarian operations and have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in a well-recognized international organization dedicated to the fight against hunger. You will gain first-hand experience of humanitarian action, life in the field, and high-impact interventions. If what you are looking for is not a tourist or travel experience but a meaningful humanitarian experience that will challenge you and contribute to both your personal and professional growth, this is the place for you.
