EPVP 7.1 - youth Campaigns and Erasmus+ from the inside
Asociatia COSI (Civic Orientation and Social Integration)
Bucharest, Romania
Description
Join COSI in Bucharest as one of 4 long-term volunteers from the EU, the Eastern Partnership and the Western Balkans, with real responsibilities from week one. After a month of induction in January, you'll plan and run six monthly awareness campaigns for Romanian youngsters on three themes: Counter Discrimination and Tolerance, Promote Opportunities for Youth, and Youth Participation and Active Citizenship. Events, workshops in schools, clubs, fundraising and content creation, in an online and an offline team. You'll also help COSI run its Erasmus+ projects World Café 3.0 and Voice and Action 5.0, and send young Romanians, especially NEETs, to projects abroad.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Everything is covered. Shared rooms in a rented apartment with the rest of the team: kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, wifi and all utilities included. 270 EUR per month for food and pocket money, paid to you. A monthly metro pass for Bucharest. Your return ticket is booked and paid by COSI. Free ESC insurance for the whole activity, and support with the visa and residence permit where needed.
Training during the activity
On-arrival training organised by the Romanian National Agency, with ESC volunteers from all over Romania, and an induction month with our team in January. A mentor for the whole stay, group meetings to build the team, individual support to set and pursue your learning goals, monthly and campaign evaluations, and follow-up meetings with career orientation at the end. Youthpass certificate.
Participant profile
You're between 18 and 30, not in employment, education or training (NEET), and you care for real about discrimination, active citizenship or youth opportunities. You're comfortable in English, can work independently and stay calm when plans change. No previous experience is needed: motivation matters more than a CV. We want someone who is still engaged in month six, not only in month one, and who wants to learn how Erasmus+ projects are built from the inside.
