Activity description

CHILDREN: The volunteers will work in complementarity with the animation team. The involvement of the volunteer in the ALAE/ALSH projects will make the children aware of linguistic issues. YOUTH / European and International Mobility : Volunteers will participate in the preparation and implementation of activities already scheduled. In a second phase, they will be able to propose activities and projects in consultation with the youth and the animation team. Volunteers will have the same role as a youth worker but will always be under the responsibility of a staff member of the team. SOCIAL LIFE ANIMATION / ACTIVITY CLUBS / LOCAL&CULTURAL ANIMATION Volunteers who wish to be fully or partially involved in any of the activities : - Participate, initially and actively, in the preparation and implementation of activities already scheduled. - Participate in teamwork. - Will be able to be a force of proposal to initiate activities or projects

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will be in individual accommodation in an apartment (bedroom, kitchen/living room, shower room) provided in the city of Gourdon The accommodation is located 20 minutes walk from the MJC. The meals will take place at the accommodation place but also at the MJC. The cost of the meals is covered by the program. To facilitate travel on site we can provide a bicycle and offer a pass for the regional train.

Training during the activity

The mission we offer is very varied in terms of activity. During his mission, the volunteer will develop skills related to: - Learning the French language (registration in the OLS program, exchange with work colleagues who are all prepared for the reception of the volunteer) - Organization of activities for children and young people - organization linked to the setting up of events.
