Activity description

The Martin Nadaud high school will mobilise 1 young European volunteer with a perfect command of computer and digital tools, supervised by a team of teachers mobilised around the European projects developed by the school. The main objective of this project is to maintain the partnership with our partner high schools, to animate the European actions with the pupils and to encourage the European professional mobility. The volunteer will have the following tasks: - Helping to organise mobility and exchanges with our partner schools . - Putting the actions related to this project on the school website. - Co-lead cultural activities with different groups of students, including the European ambassadors. - Leading cultural and language sessions with teachers. - Co-organising and participating in the various events organised by the school as part of its European mobility policy. - Maintaining the ERASMUS tab on the school website by updating or creating content.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Depending on the candidate's wishes, we can help them find accommodation in Tours or offer them a flat share in a school's staff accommodation. During the week, meals will be provided at the Lycée Martin Nadaud. The volunteer will therefore be able to take advantage of the school catering service. As far as transport is concerned, we will assist the volunteer in creating his or her own urban transport pass, giving him or her the benefit of the best rates. Training during the activity

The volunteer will be able to benefit from all the pedagogical expertise of the teachers of the Martin Nadaud high school in order to progress in the qualifications defined before the volunteering project. The volunteer will have the opportunity to attend French as a foreign language classes in order to improve his/her command of the French language. Thanks to our partnership with the Maison de l'Europe, the volunteer will have the opportunity to attend meetings and training sessions with other European volunteers.

Participant profile

We are looking for a dynamic and autonomous volunteer who is able to take the initiative to fully invest in the tasks entrusted to him/her. Experience of working with teenagers would be desirable. A command of computer and digital tools is essential.
