Activity description

Green Summit http://greensummit.greenassn.com is a project of Green Association with a long term mobility, receiving 6 volunteers for 6 months, which will take place in Bulgarian countryside. The main part of the activities will take place in the Green House in Momin prohod, the newly emerging social centre of Green Association in Stefanovo and partnering farms in the region such as Venets https://venets.co/ . Occasionally, we would visit different farms and events in the countryside. Green volunteers can get rich experience in natural farming, basic construction work with natural materials and organizing events promoting sustainable living. Among the main activities to achieve our objectives are the organization of workshops, seminars, festivals and other events that will provide valuable experience to our volunteers in the field of permaculture, community building, and event management in general. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The working hours of the volunteers will be in general, 6-7 hours a day from Monday to Friday, within 30-35 hours per week. During the conduct of weekend events their due days will be compensated before and after the event. Volunteers will be accommodated in shared rooms in a guesthouse. For food volunteers will receive a lump sum of 130 euro each on a monthly basis except for the days when the food is provided by the hosts or event organizers. Pocket money are 120 euro per month.

Participant profile

Between 18 and 30 years old, living in an Erasmus+ program country; With different backgrounds (including fewer opportunities); With different competences and interests (sustainability, permaculture, event management, project’s development, youth activities, multimedia, etc.).
