Activity description
With this project, we aim at a cross-culture bridge between the Roma and non- Roma young people which will set an example of fruitful cooperation, inclusion and responsibility for other people, communities and countries. You will have individual as well as team activities. The activities will comprise a series of workshops that you, with our full support, will organize and hold for adolescents on varied topics (personal development, ESC and Erasmus+ opportunities, workshops on health and environment, freedom of expression through arts, handicrafts, Civic Education, Rights and Responsibilities Workshops, etc). There will be some office activities as well as outside the office ones. The atmosphere will be engaging, creative and you will have the chance to express your creative and artistic sides, a project of your own and also learn and provide information through non-formal methods. .Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The association will provide: 1. transportation money (from the volunteers’ countries to Iasi, Romania) 2. visa costs 3. accommodation with house expenses covered 4. pocket money 5. Money for food Pocket Money -90 eur/month Food Allowance -180 eur/month We provide accommodation in a fully quipped and furnished apartment. Rent and utilities (, gas, electricity) will be paid by the hosting NGO.Training during the activity
The volunteers will receive orientation and support throughout the process and for the activities as well as a mentor, a coordinator and Romanian classes.Participant profile
We are looking for 4 enthusiastic volunteers interested in the topic of the project. Participants profile: - young people between 18 and 30 old with a real desire to spend half an year in Romania EU countries -B1-B2 level of English they have good social and communications skills - are flexible, willing to learn and help the others They have artistic/creative skills: music and dance, pottery, handicrafts (weaving, knitting) They have motivation and/or experience working with children from disadvantaged backgrounds and RomaActivity dates
