Activity description

The project strategically aims to protect a large wilderness area in Sayan Mountains in Siberia. develop soft tourism structures. Within the framework of the project, young people are trained for leadership tasks in the field of adventure education. Ethno-culture has a catalytic function in understanding between cultures and nations. In late summer 2023, the 2nd part of the project will take place in Germany at the base location of the Grüner Grashalm e.V. association. In Fahren (Baltic Sea). The participants will design an old landscape park, build a tree house and prepare a cultural event to be performed in the park. During this time, the participants get to know several nature parks and protected areas in Germany, acquire skills in rock climbing, sea kayaking and go on a rafting tour.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation, meals and a lump sum for travel expenses will be covered by the program.

Training during the activity

During the project the participants have the opportunity to develop their own project idea with children and young people and to implement the first steps.

Participant profile

Positive minded youngsters who are motivated to work in nature, building things from scratch, and enjoys outdoor actvities are welcomed.
