Activity description
Collaborating with H4C team, contributing to the entire project lifecycle through tasks such as research, coding, transcription, etc. Participating and assisting in team meetings, project meetings and meetings with external stakeholders Content Writing and Proposal Writing Support in the organization and running of events and activities hosted at the Home for Cooperation Support in the updating and management of the E-Store Assist in the execution of communication strategy of H4C Create and edit communications copy (e.g. press releases, publications, social media posts). Help to maintain web content and social media Track projects and media exposure as well as update databases and media lists. Maintain calendars, schedules, and appointments.Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The participant will have the chance to live in a furnished rented flat, shared with other participants in the Republic of Cyprus if they choose to. The participants will have their own bedroom, a shared kitchen and bathroom. In addition, they will have the option of using a bike from the H4C, free of charge, for commuting. If the participant has their own space/flat, they will be provided petrol allowance (7€ per working day) at the end of every month. Pocketmoney (6€ per day) and food allowance (7€ per day) will be provided at the beginning of everymonth, per participant.Training during the activity
Participants will be provided an external mentor to support them with any need during the project period. The staff of AHDR and H4C will be working closely with the participants, in order to provide on-the-job training and continuous support, ensuring the participants are making the most of their time and enhancing their professional competences. As part of their everyday work, the participants will be invited to attend meetings, presentations, trainings and other events of the organization. The participants will be offered free of charge language support in Turkish or Greek.Participant profile
18 to 30 years old Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work as part of a team. Interest/background in communication science, political science, political communication, peace and conflict studies, and cultural studies or related fields. Motivation and creative instinct to create content from scratch. Proficiency in using various social media platforms or a strong de Have a sending organization from the country of residence. Eligible to cross from crossing points in Cyprus. Strong written and spoken English. Knowledge of Greek and/or Turkish will be considered an advantage.Activity dates
