B.A.M 2.0

Activity description

B.A.M- Environmental Brigade of Montijo is an initiative created with the purpose of involving young people, as well as the rest of the Montijo community, in actions in the field of environmental protection and climate action, as well as working for environmental education and awareness. The actions that the volunteers will perform will be varied and include: Campaign office: volunteers will focus on ways to raise awareness and sensitize the community, through the elaboration of a set campaigns; Clean-up teams in the most polluted areas of the area; Workshops: elaboration of activities that constitute good environmental and sustainable practices, of their choice. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to help in the elaboration of activities for other environmental projects carried out by Omnis Factum.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation, food and transport are covered by the hosting Organization. The accomodation will be in the city where the project will take place; transportation has good access from the accomodation and the place where the activities will took place; Participants will be given a monthly amount with which to buy food for the duration of the project.

Training during the activity

The training given to volunteers will consist of project design and implementation.

Participant profile

We are looking for volunteers between 18 and 30 years old, preferably with experience in the framework of Erasmus+ and/or European Solidarity Corps projects, and knowledge in environmental issues. We are looking for young people with interest and motivation for the area and causes of the project, with critical sense, mission spirit and who want to make a difference in society and in the world.
