The short term project "Cultural Exchange and Creativity" is the perfect opportunity for people who want to make the most of their winter! If you are 18-30 years old, from Poland or the EU, join us for an artistic adventure! Hajnowka Cultural Station is waiting for you! In two months you can become part of a team full of creativity. Each person brings new value to our team and teaches others their skills. You will work with people from all over the world, so you will develop your language skills. Additionally, you will learn about working in culture by making your own cultural presentations and preparing lessons for local kids ! We will provide the volunteers all their costs: both way tickets, money for food and pocket money. We also provide accommodation - volunteers will live in a hostel created in a former train station building with other volunteers in shared rooms (2-3 volunteers in a room). This place is located in Hajnówka town in Podlasie, a unique region in Eastern Poland with a rich history and traditions, surrounded by beautiful Białowieza forest.Training during the activity
You will be participating by making your own cultural presentations and presenting them inside local schools. Additionally, you will help give English lessons to kids. That's not everything because You will be helping us fix our beautiful costumes, scenography, and masks and why not make new ones! We will also revive the Language Cafe and invite locals for more Cultural Exchange. You will take part in some workshops such as our gingerbread workshop with kids!Participant profile
As a part of the European Solidarity Corps we accept volunteers who are from 18 to 30 YEARS OLD. If you have some knowledge and experience in teaching English, planning workshops or a passion for documenting IT WILL BE A PLUS! But other than that What counts is willingness to work, openness and a good attitude.If you are hardworking and energetic this is the place for you . We work together- we make a team.
