Volunteering with Samba Résille in project management

Activity description

Samba Résille is a cultural organization that develops a popular education project through multiple activities: Brazilian music lessons and shows for all audiences (adults, young people and impeached people), world music concerts, artistic residencies and exhibitions. It also develops numerous artistic and cultural projects in Europe, Africa and Latin America. Samba Résille wishes to involve volunteers in the development of its activities with the support of a team of 9 employees, one civic service, one intern and 250 volunteer members in an open-minded organization, working hard on inclusivity to make everyone feel good, whatever their differences. We are looking for one volunteer, for a period of 9 months maximum between January and September 30th 2024, to carry out missions as a searcher for funding, private sponsors and philanthropy.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

We cover transportation and accommodation costs. The volunteer will have an allowance to cover food and local transport costs. As we are unable to accommodate you in our own premises, we will look for accommodation once the volunteer is legally assured of coming to France.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will help to seek private financing opportunities from individuals or companies. He will notably contribute to setting up a sponsorship file for the purchase of batucada instruments targeting philanthropists. The volunteer will also look for funding opportunities for our activities with people with disabilities.

We are searching for a volunteer who likes to talk and meet people, negotiate and network. Candidates applying are more than welcome to send us examples of their negotiation activities, a CV and a cover letter.
