Activity description
Samba Résille is a cultural organization that develops a popular education project through multiple activities: Brazilian music lessons and shows for all audiences (adults, young people and impeached people), world music concerts, artistic residencies and exhibitions. It also develops numerous artistic and cultural projects in Europe, Africa and Latin America. Samba Résille wishes to involve volunteers in the development of its activities with the support of a team of 9 employees, one civic service, one intern and 250 volunteer members in an open-minded organization, working hard on inclusivity to make everyone feel good, whatever their differences. We are looking for one volunteer, for a period of 9 months maximum between January and September 30th 2024, to carry out missions as a Sound specialist and concert recording producer.Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We cover transportation and accommodation costs. The volunteer will have an allowance to cover food and local transport costs. As we are unable to accommodate in our own premises, we will look for accommodation once the volunteer is legally assured of coming to France.Training during the activity
The volunteer will help making professional quality recordings at Samba Résille. He will notably work on educational materials by recording certain batucada and singing lessons. He/she will record the performances of Samba Résille members, in outdoor venues, in the street or during Erasmus+ trainings. He/she will also record the programming of professional artists during concerts at Samba Résille.Participant profile
