Activity description
Together with Mondo NGO, who opened a Mondo East Africa office in Kampala to create a stronger network, our local partner Uganda Pioneers Association (UPA) endeavours to bridge the gap between people of different cultural backgrounds. They have been working with volunteers for over a decade and are now looking for an individual who can compile voluntary service success stories from UPA projects and branches. · Conduct project evaluation assessments (group/individual) for International volunteers · Impact assessment due to voluntary service for UPA projects · Support in fundraising for UPA projects · Design and compile periodical newsletters/reports for UPA · Training in basic Digital Competence Skills for UPA members and projectsAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will work in Kampala the volunteer can stay at Villa Mamu located in Mengo (private room, big compound, kitchen, toilet and hot shower), Villa Mamu is bustling with locals and expats and the volunteer is sure to be well assimilated in the environment.Training during the activity
The volunteer will have the opportunity to get deep knowledge about working in the selected field of work. The training includes working in a local context and integrating with different communities. The volunteer can participate in local language courses. Volunteering will build new contacts and partnerships.Participant profile
