Activity description

Join our vibrant team at the Youth Association DRONI, a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering a modern, educated, and holistic society through educational and youth development programs. Based in the picturesque city of Zugdidi, at the heart of Georgia’s Samegrelo region, this volunteering placement offers a unique blend of cultural immersion, community engagement, and personal growth. Activity Description: Engage in projects focusing on civil society, conflict resolution, human rights, and peace-building. Develop and participate in educational workshops, seminars, and non-formal learning activities. Lead clean-up actions, environmental campaigns, and activities promoting democracy, active citizenship, youth participation, gender equality, and environmental stewardship.Contribute to the rich cultural tapestry of Zugdidi through involvement in local festivals, outdoor activities, and presentations about the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Zugdidi is a city where history meets modernity, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Caucasus. Known for its historical sites, such as the Dadiani Palaces Museum, and its vibrant markets, Zugdidi offers volunteers a rich experience of Georgian culture and hospitality. Volunteers will also collaborate with the St. George Gymnasium, a renowned local institution that integrates educational excellence with human rights education and Georgian traditions.

Training during the activity
