Dream Dare Do 2024

Activity description

If you master an artistic talent in Dance, Arts, Theatre, Music Production, Song Writing, Photography, Video Recording, Editing, Social Media, Playing Musical Instruments, Modeling or Project Management and you would love to share your talent with the youth of Aruba, while engaging & sharing with other young people of different cultures, then DDD is the project for you ! “Dream, Dare, Do” is a project conceived to foster youth personal development through a culture of shared authority, which supports youth in using their expertise to educate others, whether that be other youth or the adult educators themselves. The two-weeks project DDD is addressed to the young people interested in arts in general. Participants will be given the opportunity to participate to different workshops delivered by other local & international young people, who will receive a training on leadership-, presentation-, communication skills, group forming and the basics of “how to organize and give a workshop

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will stay in a large youth house with a male and female dormitory, showers, toilets a large outside space and large living room and kitchen where they will cook their own meals. Transport will be arranged to and from your work activities and for some cultural visits and for your free time there is a bus stop just outside and also you can walk to the beach and the shop. The group will have a collective budget for your weekly grocery shopping and will be responsible for cooking, cleaning and on departure fully cleaning the house bedding etc ready for a future group.

Training during the activity

You will be provided with training in all aspects of the activity as well as gaining a YOUTHPASS and support around the creation of that. There will also be opportunities for you to train one another sharing your skills with the rest of the dream dare do team, Tur Cos Ta Posibel and our partner Popcorn Club

Participant profile

We would prefer volunteers 20+ if younger they will need to be mature. We are looking for volunteers motivated by the project not the country and those who can follow instructions below: Profile described above We will not accept automatic emails so please do not apply from the ESC database.
