Activity description

The project will be carried out in a small village in Polia (Calabria/Italy). The main activity is assisting in the organization of ''Kalabria Eco Fest festival". For more information about ''KEF''. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

- Volunteers will be provided with comfortable and shared accommodation as well as Wi-Fi in the house etc. and other basic services. They will receive pocket money 5Euro/day - Food: it's above all organic homemade and we also buy food that isn't homemade. - Transport: when the volunteers will have to leave the town (due to the different activities outside the country) we have a mazda 2 (model new dp316yb) or an old model " fiat panda" owned by the president and there are no problems using it for the various transfers of volunteers. TRAVEL BUDGET: 275 EUR (or 320€ for GREEN TRAVELS)

Training during the activity

Non Formal trainings: Interactive Activities: Train volunteers to organize interactive activities for festival attendees, such as eco-themed games, nature walks, and hands-on demonstrations. Encourage creativity and innovation in designing engaging experiences that educate and inspire participants - Art and Creativity Workshops.- Sustainability Education.- Italian language courses. - Beer and wine production.- Waste Reduction Strategies - Summer camp with kids - Communication skills and social media management.

Participant profile

We are interested in volunteers between 18 and 30 years old who, even if they have no work experience, have the aptitude to learn new issues of environmental protection topics | Passionate about nature, animals | Loving to be outdoors and Happy to work with children and young people | Knowledge of basic Italian language is a plus.
