The Youth Development and Integration Association was established in 2001 as a self-governing association of people sensitive to social problems. STRIM employs active people, willing to take actions for the benefit of others, interested in youth issues, intercultural education and culture. Running a wide-ranging activity in Poland and abroad, it undertakes initiatives in the field of culture and intercultural education. We initiate and promote all forms of youth activity. We strive to achieve this by organizing training courses, seminars, conferences, public events, meetings and international exchanges. We are one of the largest organizations in Poland dealing with European volunteering.
For almost 20 years of STRIM's activity, we have completed over six hundred projects, one of the most important goals of which was to understand the need and importance of voluntary work. Every year we carry out European Voluntary Service projects (under the ERASMUS+ program and the European Solidarity Corps), as part of which we host over 30 foreign volunteers each year. These volunteers work for the benefit of the local community, sharing information about the traditions of their countries, their cultures, their interests and work experiences. Foreign volunteers work in various institutions and non-profit organizations.*
