Compagnons Bâtisseurs Centre Val de Loire

Founded in 1982, the regional association "Compagnons Bâtisseurs Centre Val de Loire" is an association of general interest, governed by the French 1901 law and the statutes which govern it. It is part of a national network which offers a National Charter of the Compagnons Bâtisseurs movement, created in 1957.

The association aims to strengthen social, economic and environmental solidarity in the field of housing and the living environment, in rural and urban areas. It is aimed primarily at individuals (owners, tenants) and relies on various partnerships (technical, institutional, social and financial) in the areas of housing and the living environment, social and solidarity economy, popular education and youth. This collective is characterized by its diversity and multidisciplinary (status, ages, culture, skills, etc.) which are at the heart of its organization and of associative life. It is also defined by a collaborative and transversal operation, whether in the decision-making, operational sphere and in our representation vis-à-vis third.

Since the beginning, the association offers volunteers to get involved in our actions with residents but also to participate in various mobility projects, on a regional, national and international scale.
