description of organisation

Boutique da Cultura is a non-profit cultural association, established in 2013 and recognized with the Statute of Public Utility, that regularly works to promote culture, citizenship and local development. The main objective of our projects is to value people and the territory.
Our history began with a theather project that was later followed by several other cultural activities that we carried out, such as exhibitions, theatrical productions, gatherings and musical shows.
Currently, we are located in Lisbon, in the parish of Carnide and we actively work with different groups of people, with different origins and characteristics, because we believe in a decentralized and accessible culture. We work for culture as a tool that allows effective social intervention, active citizenship and local development. And our commitment to the community of Carnide has been successively renewed with projects such as the Arts Incubator, Solidarity Bookshops, Casa das Artes or ProjetAR-TE.
