International Voluntary Projects ( Projekte Vullnetare Nderkombetare -PVN) is a non-profit organization aiming to contribute to local and global peace, sustainable development, human rights, inclusion and solidarity through local and international initiatives. It is the branch of the world wide network, Service Civil International (SCI) which promotes the culture of peace through volunteering since 1920.
PVN activities are organized around these main thematic focuses such as:
Inclusion and Solidarity
Peace building , Intercultural dialogue and understanding
Volunteering at local and international level, and Community development
Human Rights and democracy; Youth empowerment and youth participation
Green initiatives/ Environment and Climate changes
For each thematic focus we have built a plan of activities at national, European and international level, as there is a lot of space for young people to contribute, implement and benefit, this is relevant as well as for our ESC volunteers.
Capacity building for young people, teachers, youth workers, journalists, municipality members /staff, local organizations, volunteers etc
Daily integration activities with young people and children with fewer opportunities and special needs: supporting young people, children, elderly who face social, cultural and economical obstacles
Education activities in the high schools and universities: workshops, awareness-raising campaigns, flash mobs, non-formal education activities;
Environment and recycling ( recently entered) : Education in the schools and local community, recycling at the social centre
Mobilities and youth exchanges for young people across Europe and beyond
International workcamps on the regard of SCI network
European Solidarity Corps projects: very active on sending and hosting long and short term volunteers across Europe.; and Civic Service which will be starting next year at PVN and 4 pilot municipalities.
Promotion and cultural activities for young people: volunteering, European identity, youth participation, active citizenship, gender, no hate speech etc.
Policy making and research on social field
In addition to general activities, we do have several projects/activities which are based on specific programs and projects from time to time; also there is space for youth initiatives, creativity and innovation suggested and implemented by young people and volunteers.

• Grassroots civil society organizations which work for inclusion, young people and categories with fewer opportunities
PVN has a sustainable network with civil society organizations around the world, and trustworthy local and national partners, where we have the good environment to learn together, share, support, and provide expertise in the field needed.
PVN has 4 team members full time, 4 part-time, a group of external experts and trainers ( national and international), and around 30 active local volunteers. In the last years we have hosted 30 short and long term ESC, and supported around 60 volunteers.
