Children have such activities as games and learning, art, music, dance classes, indoor and outdoor sport activities. Every group has 3 or 4 classes every day. Curriculum includes music lessons, mathematics,Estonian and English language, physical education, handicraft and drawing lessons. Every lessin requires a lot of preparation. Tachers write lesson plans, prepare illustrative material and games to make classes more interactive and more interesting for children.
Due to the location of our city we have a mixture of two cultures in our society. In our kindergarted we celebrate both Russian traditional holydays such as "Shrovetide" or "Maslenitsa" and Estionan such as "Mardipäev". Group teachers and music teacher prepare performances and decorate classrooms for holydays. We have groups of language immersion where all the activities are held in both Estonian and Russian languages. English language lessons are also conducted in our kindergarten. We also take part in a programme "Free of bullying".
