Description of organisation

Association for creative and sustainable development KOR exists from 2012. Our main aim is personal and professional development of young people so they could become more employable. Developing their skills they would build themselves and fight the unemployment with the best possible mean which is knowledge.
Till now we implemented four projects. Two projects under the Youth in Action, one under Erasmus+ and one was founded by croatian Ministry of social affairs and youth.
First project was youth exchange "Rule the world and become an Entrepreneur " (HR-11-E29-2013-R1) which was held in 2013. We had partners from Romania, Germany, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Each partner have send 5 participants and a group leader to the project. Project was 7 days long and in total it gathered 36 participants. Participants were learning about Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills, they were brainstorming business ideas and wrote a simple business plan. Main objectives of the project were to teach youngsters how to actively fight the unemployment and develop various professional and personal skills.
Second project was transnational youth initiative "Brainstorm of European possibilities" (HR-12-E26-2013-R1) which was held in 2013 with partners from Italy and Poland. It was 7 days project were participants were preparing conference about European possibilities for youth and promoting them among young people in city of Vinkovci. This project gave young people a chance to learn how to organize an event, how to promote youth mobility as change making experiences for young people.
Third project was youth exchange implemented under the Erasmus+ program. The project was implemented in February 2015 as a sequence of the first youth exchange called "Rule the world and become an Entrepreneur:vol 2". On this youth exchange we had 36 participants who were coming from Italy, Romania, Macedonia, Portugal and Greece. Participants were making creative souvenirs for Slavonia region and practising leadership skills through different workshops, learning how to promote products, how to calculate price and how to sell it. After the project we have received positive feedback from the participants, which is definitely proof of quality of our trainings and workshops.
Fourth project is still ongoing project which is lasting 12 months and which is being implemented with support of croatian Ministry of social affairs and youth. The project is called "Social entrepreneurship- entrepreneurship according to the young people needs". The project is combined of 12 workshops where participants are local youngsters and young professionals who are learning how to write a social business plan. Project is promoting social Entrepreneurship and sustainable development as business models who are not harming our environment but tackling development in right terms.
We are trying to become a major player in creating positive social change by promoting social entrepreneurship and sustainable development at local, regional and European level. We are creating a society of active citizenship and enterprising youth who are struggling against unemployment by volunteering, learning and developing various social and professional skills.
Our target group are young people in Vinkovci and Vukovar-syrmia county. We organize different activities in local and regional level. We are organizing youth workshops in high schools and events such as Christmas clothes swap and happy Saint Nikola day where we promote voluntarism and responsible citizenship. From 2015 we started with cultural events, so each month we organize one cultural night called Cultural Duck covering different topics. We have 5 long-term active volunteers who are learning from us but also growing in knowledge and experience with us.
