The Alicante City Council and specifically the Youth Department, directs its actions to the participation, information, advice and promotion of young people between 10 and 35 years old of our city.
A large number of workshops, artistic, leisure and personal growth workshops, among others, are offered annually to be carried out in its facilities in the old town, Centro14 and in the north of the city in addition to the facilities of the Las Cigarreras cultural center belonging to to the Department of Culture.
Legal advice, Infosex, Infoarte, Center for the Promotion of Employment, Youth Housing, Youth Council and Advice on Eating Disorders, are some of the services offered, also counting on a series of awards and annual artistic competitions.
A total of twenty technicians and professionals make it possible to carry out all the activities of the organisation.
In turn, the Alicante City Council is made up of the Councils for Social Action, Culture, Sports, Festivities, Environment, Citizen Participation and other autonomous bodies, which after having received volunteers in other times,
they actively collaborate with training related to the internal functioning of the public administration and, in turn, with the offer of cultural activities for their rapid social integration.
- This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
