Zone out is a peer mentoring /peer education charity based in Scotland .[ charity no sco43889] It was formed in 2011 with the objective to support disadvantaged groups. It supports the integration into society to all of those who have experienced social and economic exclusion , due to discriminatory criteria's and to the lack of equal access to education, training and professional development. We work within the Central Belt of Scotland to allow disadvantaged young people to become confident to deliver education and information sessions to their peers on issues relevant to disadvantaged young people.
It is governed by a Board of Directors and has a small staff group of trainers.

To create and implement specific mechanisms that facilitates equal access to resources and opportunities for personal and professional development.
Vision
To develop an inclusive society that values and develops visibility, autonomy , responsibility and participation of all its members . Objectives
To promote non formal education as a tool for personal and professional development
To create networks and partnerships with national and international organisations and institutions To facilitate know how transfer between NGO's in this country and other countries.
To conduct research that contributes to the spread of information about social exclusion
To develop a greater involvement in sporting activities to enhance the physical and mental well being of individuals and groups To promote the preservation of the environment and protection of animals
To assist the strengthening of the world, friendship and the consent between people to prevention of social, ethnic and religious conflicts
Our role in the project would be the coordinating organisation responsible for ensuring a work programme is agreed, developed and delivered according to set time scales
- This organisation is accredited to run projects under Erasmus+ Volunteering and the European Solidarity Corps.
- This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
